Starting a theme prevalent in my sculptures, this installation was about the self-destruction associated with depression and sadness. A group of photos, superimposed with textual conversations hang from the ceiling, surrounding the ruined space. The scene proposes a message of longing and sadness, and attempts to compensate in a variety of ways. Various artifacts in the scene have additional content pertaining to more stories of rejection and heartbreak, mirroring those found in the hanging photos.

This giant representation of a shoe that belonged to a former girlfriend was also a performance piece. Intended to talk about memory and the pain that is attached to the artifacts that remain when a relationship ends, this giant shoe provided a home for me to lie in and recollect about my past loves.

In this work about memories and time, a group of wooden boxes hold a variety of watches in various states. The boxes represent our desire to cling onto and treasure memories of the past, while the varying states of the watches within questions the value of such an action.

Here you can see various people interacting with the boxes, opening each one to see what is hidden. The work is meant to be interactive in this way, so that each person can question the discoveries for themselves.
